Shipping Information

Dutchman's Hydroponics & Garden Supply ships all over Canada from Barrie, Ontario and we provide all shipments with a tracking number. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email update with tracking information. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive a confirmation email from us.

Dutchman's Hydroponics & Garden Supply ships packages through various carriers : Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, Canpar, Purolator and others.

Most shipping carriers do not ship to PO boxes. If you enter a PO box for your shipping address, we might have to contact you to provide an alternative delivery address. These shipments will come via Canada Post.

Please note that tracking information is usually updated within 24hrs after your order has been shipped.

Local Delivery

We offer 1 to 2 day local delivery for customers in and around Barrie. Delivery charge is $5.00 which is less than it would cost you to drive to our store using your own gas. This helps cover our gas and labour costs while saving you gas and drive time. After a year of local delivery to customers we have found that 95% of customers agree this is a fair delivery fee.

If you live outside of Barrie you can contact us to arrange a meetup with your order. Just select local delivery and then email us with your address and we can arrange a location to meet up. We meet customers almost daily at locations in different directions of the city to make picking up your products super easy and saving you gas at the same time.

Shipping

At this time due to increased fuel costs, we can no longer offer free shipping on orders. Shipping will be calculated after checkout and an updated invoice sent.

We reserve the right to cancel & refund any package that we cannot ship for various economical reasons. If this happens you will be notified and refunded in full to the payment method used.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Some large items do not qualify for FREE shipping due to their size and weight. This includes all soils and grow mediums. We try to mark all these items on the product description, however sometimes it may be missed. If you purchase one of these items we will contact you to notify you of the items that cannot be shipped and refund the items.

Handling Time

All orders are shipped out within 1-2 business days. We do not ship on weekends.

Shipping Delivery Times

1 to 2 business days for Barrie and some surrounding areas.

2 to 4 business days for Quebec and Ontario.

3 to 8 business days for other provinces

Even though we have provided shipping estimates, please note this is up to the courier and may not be honoured due to the ongoing situation globally.
